Canter Strategies was retained by a young education nonprofit to create a multi-year development plan and help with initial execution. Starting with an assessment of the client’s existing fundraising and connections, Canter Strategies surfaced strong untapped opportunities. Combining those opportunities with external prospect research, Canter Strategies built a comprehensive plan that included: annual appeal and individual outreach strategies; cultivation and communications recommendations; major giving plan and customized cultivation plans; identification of grant prospects with approach strategies; special event evaluation and recommendations; and sponsorship structure.
Canter Strategies assisted the client in executing its annual appeal, outreach communications and grant proposal strategies. Canter Strategies also supported the organization’s search for a new Executive Director and provided counsel on financial management, insurance, Board relations and more.
